Aligning with Market Demand and Keeping Pace with Development Trends: The Single-Engine Wash-and-Sweep Vehicle Project Receives Strong Government Support

With the peak of urban development in China and the gradual elevation of urban management standards, the growing gap between the expanding scope of urban management and the insufficient production capacity of sanitation vehicles has become increasingly pronounced, thereby creating substantial market opportunities for the current Chinese sanitation vehicle industry.

 

Guided by market demand and aligned with the autonomous region’s and Liuzhou City’s strategy of driving development through entrepreneurship and innovation, the company has made product structure adjustment and upgrading its primary focus for sustainable growth. To this end, it seconded sanitation vehicle technicians to form a dedicated project team that undertook intensive R&D on key components and systems, including the hydraulic system, electronic control system, wash-and-sweep mechanism, fan, dust-collection system, and water-delivery system. As a result, the company successfully developed a single-engine wash-and-sweep vehicle, gradually transitioning from a purely engineering-oriented specialized vehicle to a specialized piece of urban maintenance equipment. This vehicle is built on China’s first domestically developed Sinotruk T5G single-engine dedicated chassis, equipped with a wash-and-sweep operation-mode switch and a three-speed fixed-engine-speed control switch that can be set at 1,500, 1,600, or 1,700 rpm, enabling dynamic power output adjustment according to varying operating conditions. It also features EBL sensors and associated wiring harnesses, which significantly enhance cleaning efficiency under complex operational scenarios. The project was included in the 2016 Liuzhou Science Research and Technology Development Plan, received strong government support, and successfully passed the acceptance inspection conducted by the Liuzhou Science and Technology Bureau on December 27, 2017.
