A brand-new lightweight cement semi-trailer has completed prototype production.

Currently, as local authorities across China intensify efforts to address over-limit and overloaded vehicles, demand for lightweight vehicle models in the domestic market is steadily rising. To meet this growing domestic demand and expand its market presence, Liuzhou Yunli has developed a new line of lightweight 35- and 36-cubic-meter cement semi-trailers.

The newly designed lightweight cement semi-trailer incorporates lightweight axles and suspension components, with the tank and support brackets all fabricated from high-strength steel plates. Through the production of a prototype, we refined the thin-plate welding process, enhanced weld quality, effectively controlled distortion during thin-plate welding, and ensured superior appearance. The discharge piping features a large-diameter design, which not only achieves weight reduction but also increases the unloading speed of the cement semi-trailer. To further reduce the vehicle’s curb weight, we conducted material selection studies and developed alternative solutions for weight reduction using different materials, bringing our company one step closer to achieving even greater lightness in our new cement semi-trailer.
