Bulk Orders of Snow Throwers Successfully Delivered to the Qinghai Provincial Highway Bureau

Recently, after-sales service personnel from China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Liuzhou Yunli Kodiaq Machinery Co., Ltd. traveled personally to the Qinghai Provincial Highway Administration. Upholding the group’s corporate culture of “precise delivery and quality first,” they overcame the harsh challenges posed by the high-altitude plateau—severe cold, low oxygen levels, and violent blizzards—and successfully delivered a batch of LMSC3036 snow-throwing machines to the administration. The delivery locations included: the Huangyuan Highway Section of Qinghai Province; the Yushu Highway Section along the Yellow River in Qinghai Province; Chaka Town, Ulan County; No. 9 Dongxiao Street, Ulan County; and No. 82 Hedong Road, Jimai Town, Dari County.

In the Yellow River Source Region of Qinghai Province, snow begins to fall every September and persists through May of the following year, resulting in prolonged snow cover. Consequently, snow-removal equipment is used more frequently here than at airports. Traditionally, road maintenance crews in this area have relied primarily on wheel loaders to push snow, a method that delivers poor clearing quality and low efficiency. After switching to Kodiak LMSC3036 snow blowers, both clearing efficiency and cleanliness have improved dramatically. According to a spokesperson for the Qinghai Provincial Highway Administration: “The Kodiak snow blower is the most efficient machine we have ever seen; it enables us to quickly clear snow from the roads, with an efficiency several times greater than that of conventional equipment.” The exceptional snow-clearing performance of this batch of machines has been widely reported by Qinghai media and even made headlines in local newspapers. Previously, the Kodiak CR450S snow blower also earned high praise from Yushu Airport in Qinghai.

The Qinghai Provincial Highway Administration currently operates mainly Class-II chassis-mounted snowplows equipped with push blades, whose blade widths are roughly equal to the vehicle widths. Most of this equipment is outdated, and its replacement cycle is imminent. Meanwhile, the Maduo Highway Section still relies on manual application of deicing agents for snow removal, a method that results in uneven distribution and low efficiency. The delivery of Kodiak’s brand-new snow-throwing vehicles has undoubtedly brought significant convenience to Qinghai’s challenging snow-clearing operations. The Qinghai Provincial Highway Administration has stated that its next step is to place additional orders for snow-throwing machines with Liuzhou Yunli.
